Lucy Fisher is a journalist and author.

She is Whitehall Editor at the Financial Times and host of the FT’s Political Fix podcast, and has published two books.

Previously she was Chief Political Correspondent and then Defence Editor at The Times, and later Chief Political Commentator at Times Radio.

Lucy has appeared regularly on the BBC and Sky News, including the programmes Newsnight, Westminster Hour, Today, World At One, PM and The Papers.

Her second book, “Women in the War: The Last Heroines of Britain’s Greatest Generation”, was published by HarperCollins NonFiction in September 2021. Her first book, the biography “Emily Wilding Davison: The Martyr Suffragette”, was published in 2013, then republished in 2018 by BiteBack.

She is an Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), the world’s oldest think tank.

Lucy is represented by literary agent Max Edwards at Aevitas Creative.

She lives in London with her husband and daughter.
